Danelle Aune, 33, is dedicated to her career in Cosmetology. In 2001, Danelle received her diploma as a graduate of Josephs School of Hair Design and was license in North Dakota. She realized the chance to create something that people love when they see themselves in the mirror is very rewarding. This ignited her passionate mission to make people look and feel beautiful.

Ms Aune worked as an educator for Paul Mitchell for 3 of the 5 years while she started her career in North Dakota. At this point, she relocated to CT and received her CT Cosmetology license. Over the years, Danelle has taken time in perfecting her craft. She has been involved with fashion shows, photo shoots, competitions, on location parties, and personalized beauty experiences.

In 2008, she was Regis' Northeast Makeover Challenge Best Overall Stylist. To stay educated in the forever-evolving industry she has attended classes covering all aspects of Cosmetology. Danelle strives for her clients to have the best hair cut for their face shape and life style along with a color to make it pop.

Throughout the span of her career, she feels her clients, continued education, and drive to be great has allowed doors to open. In 2011, Vanity Studio opened, creating a brand new career and client experience. The idea of a tailored appointment that is affordable luxury was new to the Fairfield County area.

Vanity Studio is an upbeat, professional, diverse salon where the stylists really listen to the needs of the clients. Vanity Studio, being located in the heart of downtown Stamford, is active with the community and local organizations. In 2013, Danelle became co-owner of Vanity Studio with ShaQueen Valentine.

Danelle and ShaQueen are a perfect balance. Vanity Studio has expanded into Vanity Studio Hair Bar, selling quality human hair extensions. In 2014, Vanity Studio School of Cosmetology opened onsite.
